If you’re in need of a night out for the most delicious combination of meat and chips, we recommend The Tramshed in Shoreditch. The Tramshed was voted the best meat restaurant in TIME OUT and also received an “Eating and Drinking Award in 2012.” Their menu is simple but so delicious—pick your seasonal sharing starter and follow it up with chicken or steak.
Not only do you get served a divine meal, but the entire restaurant serves as an art gallery as well. The specially commissioned artwork by Damien Hirst of a cow and a cockerel sits in the centre of the restaurant, opening up the Tramshed completely. You can then walk downstairs into the Cock ’n’ Bull Gallery where the exhibitions change every four weeks.
Our LICKALIX team went over to The Tramshed not too long ago and shared a Roast Chicken with chips between 3 people. Needless the say, there was nothing left on that chicken. It was a lovely evening and much needed after a exciting and stressful summer. We recommend that you make a booking as soon as possible as the restaurant fills up quite quickly. We promise you will walk out feeling satisfied and full. Let us know what you think of this beautiful restaurant in Shoreditch! Also, check out the photos from our team night out. :)
