Rain did not stop the thousands of people taking part in the London Pride parade on Saturday, June 28th.  The parade began at Baker Street in central London and continued along Oxford, Street, Piccadilly Circus, Pall Mall, Trafalgar Square, and ended in Whitehall.  The streets were filled with people in costumes, the iconic rainbow flags (a symbol of LBGTQ pride), and many many smiles. 

Although our LICKALIX team could not take part in the parade itself, we were able to meet those who passed by our VW Lolly Mobile showing their support for Gay Pride.  We want to congratulate one couple we met who are due to get married this month.  Their shirts said “I’m HIS” & “He’s MINE” and had their wedding date printed on the back, which we absolutely loved!  If you were at Pride and had one of our Pride lollies, tag #freedomtolovewhoyouwant!
